My family met you on the streets of Virginia City, NV in 1974 after you visited a palm reader there. You had your 4 kids with you and wife. You were appearing at the Sahara Tahoe. I was 16 and got your autograph. You kissed my mom and spoke to us for at least 5 mins, it was very memorable. I still appreciate that.

I just love your stories and listening to you. I believe in spirits as well. I had a dog who hated cats. He passed. I decided to get a cat as one can travel easier with a cat; they take care of themselves. You don't have to board them etc. I swear there are many nights I feel the spirit of my dog jumping up on the bed. It is so real. I'll open my eyes and there's nothing there! He's probably letting me know he doesn't approve!

Engelbert there a MANY good souls with us. I helped care for my Mother-in-law while she was on Hospice. About 6 months after her passing I was shopping in our local market and I heading to check when I stopped very suddenly in my tracks. There above me was like a cloudy vapor and in the center of that vapor was my Mother-in-law’s face smiling at me. I felt such happiness and peace because I knew she came back to let me know she was in heaven. My daughter at the time was only 10 years old and was very close to her. I never shared this story with her because I wasn’t sure if she could understand what had happened. Then ...... one evening after dinner I was sharing this story with my brother-in-law and my daughter was in the kitchen with my new grandson listening to me tell my story. After he and his wife left to go home my daughter asked me why I never told her this happened. My response was ‘Kim I wasn’t sure if you could understand what had taken place that day.’ Her response.. ‘Mom I was stunned listening to you tell Uncle Nick your story about Grandma because the same thing happened to me at the same place just as you told Uncle Nick.’ I asked her why she never told me and her response was ‘ I never thought anyone would believe me!’ So my Mother-in-law shared her beautiful gift with both of us.

Another great story! My mother told me that the home we moved into when my parents moved out had these little old wrinkled men that when she went to bed would get right up into her face. She mentioned how amazingly beautiful their eyes were and not to be afraid if I see them because they are there for protection. My mother had a conversation with them when she first saw them and asked that they live together and told them she loved them.P.S. the first post that was almost written disappeared; so I apologize if this is a repeat. Also, I heard a Monk say recently he preferred the term common senses rather than spirits.

Wow Engelbert what can I say, I mean I have an open mind and I believe your stories about the spirits. There are mysteries in life that I do not understand such as is there life of some kind after death? It seems that according to your stories that yes there is and I find that fascinating. You are special in being able to attract these spirits. You are also special in the way you re-recorded the song "One World" which premiered yesterday. I love this rendition in which your voice is powerful yet very warm and rich. The words of the song have so much meaning. I am glad that you changed the wording of the phrase "a tiny crowded star in space" to "on this tiny planet out in space" to correctly reflect that we live on planet Earth and not on a star. This song hopefully gives inspiration to all people. I also tuned in to the You Tube live chat portion following the premiere of the song. I couldn't help but notice your frustration and pain at the inefficiency of the technology in managing how well you can see all the comments and also on being able to reply to the comments from your fans. But on the bright side, the fact that these comments flew by so fast - almost as if by the speed of light (just kidding) shows that you have soooo many fans all over the world who love you and your music. So don't be surprised by the outpouring of affection for you and that you are known the world over. You should definitely be proud of your achievements. Stay well, miss and love you.

Sounds like you had spirit children possibly too. This is part of my life. I had a friend her spirt friend was Jess. It was an old farm house in Washington State. She had a lot of activity in that house. Jess was a very nice man and very handy. If something went wrong with the bathroom sink and Jess became aware of it, it was always fixed. Enge I never really believed in spirits . till my husband passed. Now I . have my own special spirit. I say this because my husband was a smoker .
