Look how much our world has changed since than. Journalists and news reporters only look for the negative around the world. Look for the good in the world if you can’t find it at least be a good human. The world needs more love and kindness and compassion ❤️🙏

Cool fact: The glasses the miners wore were donated by Oakley. They knew they haven't seen light 2 months and the eyes would have a hard time adjusting. So they present those shades knowing it would get marketing and do some good.

They where not even sending them food because it was dangerous for their bodies . They also kept them busy by sending them other items . It was actually a very long interesting process.

They had emergency supplies that were supposed to last for only a few days, but were able to stretch them out for the first few weeks. After the first contact was made, extra food and supplies were sent down through a tube.
