Most of the wrestlers in this weight were or became eventual national champions/national finalists. Fix (4x Runner Up) Suriano (2x Champion, 3x runner up) Micic (1x finalist) Lizak (1x Finalist) RBY (2x Champion) Gomez (1x Finalist) And some of the their losses are too wrestlers who never cracked the finals like Desanto, pletcher and Philippi.

How exactly is Suriano a 2x Champ but 3x runner up? The only time he was a runner up was against Spencer Lee was it not? He won every other finals appearance, via Daton Fox and Pat Glory at 133 and 125.
