i had no choice but to pick this up, it really sits good in more modern stuff. I like some other libraries for faking classical or live performances but this library really does do what he said, sits good in a track. The presets are awesome too, I found them all to be super useful, not that silly serum "look what i can make" nonsense.

The smaller studio space gives the piano a nice not too dry, not too wet sound that is easier to control than if you had a huge hall or room to contend with. I am so glad you are enjoying the collection. Thanks so much for watching.

For long time I have trouble to get ppp velocity from my Pianoteq. I used many different keyboards but could not get it right. You nailed the ppp velocity Simeon on this Hammer and Waves. So satisfying to hear and finally found a Piano VST that can get consistent velocity even just hearing from KZbin. Thank you Simeon. 🙏

I thought am the only have the same issue with Pianoteq. They improved alot lately since version 7, but not quiet there yet as we all expected.

What controller you've been using?

@@adolphweber9005 Funny you couldn't get good velocity. Pianoteq 7 is definitely better than 6. So you should get those right with a few tweaks.

@@andywilliam367 That's the point. This new Hammer and Waves got the whole things right at first launch without tweaking. Not all Pianist are Piano technician. This guy gets it and he make right right straight out the box.

Sounds great to me, just picked it up. Danny's attention to detail is pretty incredible.

I know you will enjoy it. The Fractals and Swarm options are really creative in what you can do to the basic sounds. They really knocked it out of the park. Thanks so much for watching.

I do think this is a very nice collection and the way they utilized the sampling robot adds to the way the velocity layers transfer. Thanks so much for watching and the kind words of support. If you do decide to purchase, please use the links in the video description 🤓 Joyfully! 🎹

Hammer waves VS Pianoteq 7 ??????!!!

Hi Simeon, what spec CPU/buffer settings are you using? We have a 2017 quad core MacBook Pro 15" and have some CPU trouble running presets from this library like "Crystalisis" and other "moving" presets like that. Thanks!
@DeepWatersTabernacle2 жыл бұрын
Also, what audio interface are you using?
@PraiseTracks2 жыл бұрын
My main production system is an Intel i9 9900k running at 5ghz with 64GB of memory. I store my VSL libraries on m.2 NVME to get the fastest transfer rates. My audio interface is a Focusrite 4i4 3rd gen. Most of the time I run 48k with a 192 buffer size. I hope that helps. Thanks so much for watching.

Yes, those moving patches will hit the cpu pretty hard. This would be similar to NOIRE’s Particles Engine.

Hi. im new to music production, and i dont know how to integrate this piano to my kontakt. can you explain me how to integrate that ?
@PraiseTracks3 жыл бұрын
Max, welcome to the beginning of an exciting adventure. If you purchased the library you would register and installed it through Native Access, after that it should appear in the Libraries area when you launch Kontakt. There is a lot of valuable information in the Hammers and Waves documentation located in the Hammers and Waves folder. KZbin is an amazing resource, so I would come up with some topics you are interested in, for instance; How To Use Kontakt in my DAW, and other things like that. It also depends on the DAW platform you are using, Cakewalk, Cubase, Ableton, Reaper, etc.. This is not a sprint with a quick answer, but a journey filled with a lifetime of learning and discovery, you will never stop finding new ways to improve and gather fresh information and inspiration. Please let me know how I can assist you in the future. All the best and thanks so much for watching.
