There's no way that the Bionic Arm match was 13 years ago...oh fuck, it was.

I can say without a shadow of a doubt that TeamSPOOKY was the quintessential FGC Livestream. So many classic moments came from your stream, and I can't thank you enough for 13+ years of service.

Man, hearin you say you wish you could've done better hurts my heart a lil, but in a good kinda way. As a young man livin out in rural sticks so far away from the larger FGC, what you streamed out to the world was the gospel. It meant the world to me to tune in and see all these stories unfold. I rocked with the poverty streams, and I was always sad to be set free. You did a lot with a lil Spooky my dude. Always appreciate you for helpin me stay connected to the core.

For real man it was insane many amazing weekly's we got to watch because of spooky. Didn't realize it at the time but the SF4 and MVC3 era of games was my absolute favorite. YOU ARE ALL FREE NOW!!!!

Spooky you are a legend. I watched recaps of those streams on your channel for over a decade. You're the goat big dog, we love ya for it

I came into the FGC as a dirty '08/'09er family man. Your streams and uploads were so important to that resurgence in the FGC and being able to watch that because of you was great. Hindsight is always 20/20, but your streams were always high quality and it's only got better over time. Thank you, Spooky.

2011 is still my all time favorite year for fighting games. Every game was insanely hype. MK on the big stage at EVO, MvC's triumphant return, Daigo getting perfected, Spark murdering slizz with Hakumen in BBCS, this moment, it was so magical.

This is THE reason i STILL main Spencer in MVC3. Every team comp i tried ALWAYS had to have Spencer, ALWAYS in anchor, but now i run the CoachSteve/LiberalTerminator team in their same order. I love it.

Spooky, I love this concept. I don't know if I caught this match live, but I was definitely tuning in throughout the weekend for this tournament. I was a huge stream monster even before that 2011 era. I remember watching MvC2 at Seasons Beatings Redemption and finally understanding just what the hell I was looking at. Fighting games were my introduction to streaming, live broadcasting from an event. It was so different from the recorded and edited content people were making. I always felt fighting game tournaments created the template for what became live streaming with real events and personalities, and of course exciting games. So many guys from the fighting game scene are streaming now, which is awesome. I can't wait to see which matches you highlight next. I think about those games and tournaments all the time.

If you did a video like this for every video in your Team Spooky Classics playlist it would be amazing. Hell even hearing commentary from some of the NLBC clips preserved on the Based Monster account would be cool. Crazy how I’ve seen almost all of those moments live.
