It seems as if the Blazing Gem is required for all maps in this campaign. Then again I am sure there are players good enough to beat them without it.

i havent used the blazing gem in my playthrough. i did feel dirty using the swamp thing tho

I didn't use it on any map on impossible but even went one step further and did the last stage 3 stars using only archer, fire mage, goblinrangs, grim cemetery and lucerna, took me around 10 tries tho to pull it off

You can beat most levels by spamming Orge shipwreck. It only has few counter such as Rushing monkey and Hanged Captain. Being a Barrack tower boosts the monkeys’ speed and Hanged captain cannot be stalled due to his insta kill
