@@samadalhayadi6844 well, some things are hard to understand I guess. Not like there's a whole lot of people who can even talk about psychology in an abstract or broad sense. When Darwin scrambled upon the idea of evolution, its not like it was easy to explain. But give it a couple hundred years, who knows what unexplainable underlying ideas that influence people will exist. Even now, its seems like people dont understand evolution in its fullest capacity, and thats actually what JP has done because he tries to connect the science with social character which we all interact with as "meaning." That's not that easy to do with the scientific method, so unless you have a better way, I would not be so sure to criticize the nuance like nature of the topic itself, even if its partially true. You cant talk about something more complex than that. It would be like looking at computers from 50 years ago and saying "Well these machines can't even drive that much computing power compared to what we could have in the future!" That would be partially true, but also blatantly disrespectful to the people working so hard to build the computers and software in the first place. Not trying to write a full on essay, but I see this kind of comment all the time and it always strikes me as unaware and arrogant to someone who has worked their entire life to attempt to talk about some things that have never been really talked about before. @@shadowbandit3975 okay cultist. Dr Robert Sapolsky disproved Jordan’s claims years before he even made them. Not to mention appeals to nature are a juvenile argument tactic. And the fact that I can posit an opposite argument with hermaphetic sea slugs or other sea animals that prove the contrarian to JBP claims shows it’s a bad argument. There are better arguments for traditional values rather than stretching this far. Like how having a whole family and community improves one’s out look in life, or how have a monogamous relationship might reduce one’s chance of spread ing diseases. Or that drugs cause headlessness. Or having a spiritual framework can help someone’s mental health. But the only thing JBP is interested in are benzodiazepines, money, and hate. You can see this by how far Jordan stretches from being a clinical psychologist into blatantly false philosophy, history, biology and more. Clean your mind.
