I have been so much enjoying these flash mobs performing “Ode to Joy”. This one especially lifts my spirit because it is done by so many very young people, and because it is so heartfelt. There are other, more technically perfect renditions, but none as spiritually satisfying as this. From your homes so far away you worked, planned, and practiced to perform this sublime music never thinking years later your gift would travel the awesome distance to me. You give the most powerful, intangible, and enduring blessing, and I am more grateful than words can say.

Hemer kann was :) Hätte ich meiner alten Heimatstadt beinahe nicht zugetraut. Teilhaben an etwas größerem - ja großartigem - ist wohl für Akteure und Zuschauer einfach gut. Auf dem Umweg über dieses Video konnte ich auch dabei sein und freue mich über all das Gute, was hinter dieser Idee Steckt.
