If you follow most of Elena's tutorials, you will find this one is quite easy. I started to learn illustrating by following her recent tutorial videos, and it is addicting. Once you understand what you are doing, it will get easier and less hassle. I've learned that using ctrl+c and ctrl+f makes everything possible, together with pathfinder. Other than that, using blur effect, free distort & transform, etc and finally I understand what is expand appearance 😂 (because I can't find the correct usage by googling and lost in translation) 😂 Thank you Elena for sharing your knowledge. I hope I can learn more by following you and I wish I can illustrate better using some brushes in adobe illustrator 😊

Thank you Elena, your tutorials have everything a beginner needs to get started.. now I won't always have to use shape builder tool to cut out excess shapes coming out of my artboard, I will use Pathfinder's intersect instead and again I know what expand does now.. thanks for your time, looking forward to see more interesting work from your channel.. stay safe,stay blessed

Hi, Elena, I have a question regarding this tutorial. At around 3 mins, where I adjust width of the fringe to the towel width, when I select the fringe it gets selected together with the biggest sand rectangle. From the video I do not quite understand how to select fringe only. Could you please give more details on how its done? Thank you for your channels, I watch them in both languages, it is a lot of useful and straight to the point information that I appreciate you sharing.
