Generic? Disappointing? What the hell song are you listening to? This is great are you kidding me? Were you expecting a Daniel Lioneye meets HIM sound? His vocals are new and refreshing, Linde and Gas are together again with their unmistakable legendary playing, re-sparking my love and interest for them like I'm hearing them for the first time again, and I want more! I'll take anything and everything I can from these amazing people, and I'm so grateful I get to hear them again, and you all should be too.

Heartkiller I noticed you saw them in Chicago for their farewell! I was there at the house of blues too bro! Amazing show I was up front-ish by Linde. That was like the first day it snowed too for the season.

thenumberofthebeast2 yeah man I was there! Was in VIP balcony. It was a good show, just wish it didn’t feel so rushed.. I’m happy to see Linde and Gas move on to a new band.. Tony and I are pretty good friends and this album is going to be great.. Hopefully more people will get over Valo not singing. It seems like they act like someone is replacing him.

How is this refreshing? The keyboard riff is practically When Love and Death Embrace with a few minor tweaks and a faster tempo and the lyrics are your typical, whiny angst bullshit without anything too clever behind them. The song structure and chord arrangements have been stolen from every single 90's alt. and grunge band out there.

I wasn't crazy about the intro of the song, but the chorus was good. I just wish I could understand the vocals more throughout the song.

Will need to listen to the full record. So far, I am not sold on the voice. Gas and Linde shine here. I don't like the bass... The way it is played sounds unfit to me, but this is an early listen. I do want to hear the rest!
