Oh my gosh, you're the only one i found that shows how to end Herringbone with straight stitch. making one with 3mm silver cubes, and started with 2 rows of straight stitch. but it's been a while, and i forgot how to make the other end match. THANK YOU!! ;) that's so easy. i'm grateful for your video. ;) ♥ bummer, it doesn't work with cubes. but next time i make a seed bead cuff, or a delica one, i'll use it. ;)

Really great demo! I actually said out load "ah ha!" when I saw you go from 1 pair of beads to the next. Last herring bone tut I watched she ended up with separate 2-bead-wide columns - maybe she didn't demo enough rows. Couldn't see how she connected the columns! I could see right away how you're ending up with a fully connected flat herring bone. Down the even 3'd bead and up the odd #'d bead. Yay! Now I feel like I can accomplish it without a problem! THANK YOU! I like how you did a gradual color "fade" instead of straight line color blocking. Much more interesting. I also really like the 11/'s covering part of the thread bridge from row to row. It almost gives the look of a tiny scallop trim. I think I'll add 11/0's between the rows on the ends so each end has 5 11/0's covering the thread bridges at the end. Gonna go try this bracelet today after lunch. TFS!

Can I used 11/0 beads with this design? Love all your videos tutorial
@vkates8 жыл бұрын
Potomac Bead Company, I ordered all of the beads for this bracelet, but you are out of stock in the Maroon and Olive colors. When can I be able to buy these colors from your site? Also, why is there such a huge price difference in the Spanish Olive compared to all of these other duracoat bead colors.

I have all kinds of different left over beads. They are all different types and sizes. How can I incorporate them into a set (necklace, bracelet, and earrings), and actually make them look good together? Can you do a video for something like that, please?
@Potomacbeadco8 жыл бұрын
It really depends upon what type of beads you have. You may want to look at our "freeform peyote" video.
@SqueakeyCat8 жыл бұрын
Potomac Bead Company they are not your normal beads for doing peyote, and as they are so big (stones, chips, 10-55 mm rounds and other shapes), peyote videos don't help. Any other videos for that size beads?
@Potomacbeadco8 жыл бұрын
Probably for that type of thing, general stringing projects.

Hi I am practising this stitch as never done herring bone before, but I find one or two the beads are not sitting at an angle for herringbone! Is it because I'm pulling the thread too tight, what do you think
@Potomacbeadco6 жыл бұрын
Try to position the beads in the proper position, and then pull the thread.
@gloriathomas98736 жыл бұрын
Thank you I will try that.

+Beth Graham Allie was running out of time to record this video, and had to do the first half of it overlooking our shipping center, while a new studio area was being built. I didn't really notice too much noise though.
