Thank you gorgeous😘 You should definitely give it a go, I think it would look great on you. Even if you have shorter hair you could get similar results, if you just do smaller and more than 8 flat twists. You can even use smaller perm rods which help with stretching out your hair plus it won't take as long..lol..I hope you love your results, if you decide to give this a try🤗

I want to give this a try but every time I try a twist out it comes out wrong for some reason. I have really tight curls and frizzy hair. Any tips?

Hey love, I'm sorry to hear that your twist outs haven't been coming out well. Twist outs tend to thrive on moisture and a good hold, so before beginning your twist out be sure to moisturize each section of hair with leave in conditioner, follow-up with your favorite oil, and seal it with a holding cream. I suggest a combination of a strong holding curling cream with a firm holding gel on top, similar like I did in this video. Some strong holding creams I recommend for tight curls are Deva Curl Supercream, Miss Jessie's Curly Meringue or Lottabody Wrap Me Foaming Mousse. Having detangled and moisturized hair will ensure that your hair strands will absorb the products and dry in the shape of the twists you put them in. Even though my twist out is done on blown out hair, may I suggest doing your twist out on damp hair. Its much easier to work with. Just make sure you grip your roots tightly when you flat twist and give your hair time to dry completely or else it will come out a frizzy mess. Once it’s fully dry, carefully untwist, starting from the bottom and be sure to keep your fingertips oiled to prevent frizz. Hope this helps!

Bella Mecia // Thank you so much for such a detailed answer! I definitely will try this. Usually I do not flat twist the beginning of the hair maybe that is one of the reasons why my twist outs do not come out right. Thanks again!
