After watching a few more of your videos. I decided to big chop and try a twist out. It was easier than I thought. I have been doing twist outs on my daughter's hair for a couple of years but never on mine. Im not in love with it nor do I hate it. I can't wait for it to dry. I know eventually I will like it.

Shanynn Gonzalez I know exactly what you mean. Not too long ago I tried to style my hair in a regular bun, nothing fancy (just sleeked back with a donut) and someone stopped me and told me that it was boring and didn't fit my personality. So now I have to get creative even with my buns :)

I love this style!! I'm thinking about doing to my hair this week. Question: was your hair dry or wet when you did this? My hair is not as long as yours and in trying to decide if I should let my hair air dry and stretch it or if I should blow dry it before I do this.

Sierra Jones If you're looking for length, then do the style on dry hair (blow/ air drying will work). My hair was initially dry when I started the tutorial, but since I didn't mind the shrinkage, I added water to re-wet the hair again.

Jaide Woghiren When I was transitioning, my hairstylist at the time use to curl my ends with perm rods to help keep the ends from unraveling. As the days went by, of course I would have to re-twists some of the ones that started to unravel. I would try this method out if your hair texture/curl pattern is a little looser. Other methods probably include using loc/twisting creams that contain a stronger hold, gel, twisting while the hair is wet/damp or even making sure to curl the ends around your finger in some cases.
