Flathead Ford V8 numbers

Van Pelt Sales have a page with all the serial numbers listed out. The number on the trans was copied onto the frame rails when the original vehicle was made. The trans could have been swapped as could the engine. Looking at the list I can't see anything with a 699C prefix. Looking at the serial number itself it would seem to sit in the 1946 range of numbers. What did you find?

engine numbers are under the intake on top of the block on right side

Yes they are. I learned where they are and updated it in a later video. I have two of these flatheads, I think I'll try to show each in a newer video.

Your looking at seriel # for the chassis. Matches the one on the frame rails.
