FLATHEAD LAKE MONTANA | BIGGEST NATURAL FRESH WATER LAKE WEST OF THE MISSISSIPPI RIVER

Day 14 of our Road Trip we do our last final thing in Montana before driving into Idaho and that's visit Flathead Lake! The BIGGEST Natural Fresh Water Lake, west of the Mississippi in the lower 48!
With many access points on this huge lake, we visit the Interpretive trail no. 77. It is free and is in the Flathead National Forest.

Flathead Lake is beautiful! I've driven by there before, heading up to Glacier NP, but we've never stopped and hiked. It's an amazing lake. You have inspired me to look into the trails there and look for some camping spots too!! Wonderful Montana!! :) 💚🤍💙
