Ran the flatheads back in the 80's, mostly stock, but ran some Super Stock and Limited Modified in the late 80's early 90's. A lot of fond memories from back then, still love to see them run. Wish Briggs would make them available again.

I ran back in the 80’s too at Capital City in Va. Stock and sportsman light. Briggs was a fun engine to build. Never did modifieds but always wanted to.

In the mid 90s to around 2002, I ran jr 2, the stock classes and later the tecumseh H50(kind of like a limited or super stock), star and open star.

Man I miss my flathead, started back in 2006 at 5 years old in purple plate on a flathead and a 2003 meleneum tempest she was bad son

Love them flatheads. Anyone struggling, .60 over piston angle bored .0120. Comp cams .462. Bigs valves a must. Big as you can get. Cyclone carb the best unless aftermarket is legal. If it is, Tillotson slide 410. Gear it to the track. Gear it for 14500. Ready to go.
