Flathead V8 Engine Mount Installation Ford Model T- Ford Free T - Ep. 15

In this episode we work on setting a flathead V8 in the modified chassis for the Ford Free-T and make some front engine mounts for the car. This step is a big step in making the car look more "complete". Hopefully this summer we will be able to take the car cruising almost every weekend. Thanks for watching! My first car was a 1953 Ford, it had a Fathead in it. I just love those engines. Very sturdy and easy to work, sometimes

Heck yea, can't beat the sound and looks of a Flatty! I keep spare stuck blocks around for mockups like this so I don't have to wait on the engine builder and he can do his thing as I keep building. -Matt/ITG

Canadian Ts had 2 doors. I have a 1918 body. They had 2 doors because they were being built for domestic and commonwealth markets like the UK and New Zealand where the drivers side is on the right. On a T with a stock setup you can’t get in on the side with the steering column.
