@PrettyGoodChannel. i have advanced so far and so quickly at flatland i really am charging in with no fear, no pads and constantly trying until i get more tricks down, very methodical with the order of learning and structure of UniQuest, i always tried to balance on really challenging things when i was young and really discovered my potential in unicycling and got into more unicycling tricks. Thank you so much for these videos!

Jump mount was daring at first but i manned up and actually aced it quickly on grass and a couple tries later i can do it on pavement perfectly

Good job breaking down and explaining stuff. Super useful resource. I just wish I found it before I tore my ACL MTBing. Hopefully I can get back to unicycling after my surgery.

Leg extensions the hardest. Any tips on keeping my crank from rolling when I take my foot off.
@PrettyGoodChannel3 жыл бұрын
You just have to get that learn right. I'm guessing you're taking off your backfoot? Keeping the frontfoot on? And that the unicycle is rolling out from under you, ending up in-front of you? This can't possibly happen if you keep your body weight forward more. The unicycle cant slip out in front of you if you have your weight forwards. So my tip would be, consciously hold your body weight as forward as possible. Change the way you hold the unicycle with your hands so that you're encouraging your weight forward- leaving the unicycle behind. What can help- is when you do the leg extension, take your foot off and put it ANYWHERE except directly out the back, putting it directly out the back will encourage you to lean back- more than you want to. Tell me if this makes sense/if you understand it, try it, and give me feedback! Anything further, please take a video of yourself trying and I'll do another assessment. Chris H

How much air should I have in my tire? I'm not very heavy so it's hard to bounce and make the tire "rebound". If it's fully pumped it retains it's shape and idk if that matters much

Find the inbetween. Hard to say in terms of PSI without knowing what your set up is, but I just go by feel. You never want to bottom out, which is when your rim hits the ground, so as long as you're not doing that- it's all personal preference. Though as you get better, the more you'll be able to utilize a harder tire, ie you'll get better at the spring eventually. CH

The next episode is already available in Early Access for Patreons ;) Otherwise the next episode is sadly probably about a month away, as I'm currently inbetween moving houses and it's just a little too much at the moment! But, do not worry! The series WILL continue, have soooo many future levels ready to go (have all the levels written down etc). Chris H

I’ve been unicycling for about a year now. One of the things I want to work on is jumping down from bigger heights. Can you make a video on being able to absorb a landing when dropping down from tall heights? The only thing I have trouble with is absorbing the landing.
