After watching his tool handling, I do believe he was moving his tools a bit too quickly over the rotating wood. The next demo he will be a Pro.

Safety has to be a priority in a demonstration and here it appears that he doesn't know how to use tools safely.

I agree, he appears to ,be going at this very haphazardly. It is almost like he has never used a lathe. I am very shocked that he did not hurt himself, or worse, someone else during this demo. Let us hope that he does not work like this in his own shop.
