Wow-- did you miss something? The "straight" guy is throwing himself at the gay guy and then pulls the plug when the gay guy acts on the flirtation. The sexual tension is the fulcrum of the short.

Yes, extremely possible. It happens all the time, actually. Straight boys can be very affectionate when they're in a situation where they feel comfortable enough to be vulnerable and not fear scorn, like with a gay man who they think wouldn't mind the way another straight guy would.
