This update is really disappointing. They claimed to add "controller support," but all they did was create a Steam Input profile that maps every button and analog stick to keyboard keys. This means there's no analog steering or analog acceleration/braking. Additionally, because the controller is essentially emulating a keyboard, you get awkward stunt controls like L2 and R2 being used to push the driver up and down in stunt mode, which is just ridiculous. They also didn't fix the stretched HUD and game interface, nor did they remove the 100fps cap or reintroduce spatial sound support (something that could be solved with a simple DLL). I'm currently working on a mod to address the controller issues, and it will be available on the Steam Workshop soon.

@@fcanudo_ I noticed this too, also on the original Flatout I had a nightmare trying to sort the controls as well. Will keep an eye out for your mod 👍

How to add a mod, because I added it in the workshop but it doesn't work in the game.

The game's framerate feels off, everything looks like a stuttery 30fps instead of the 60 it's showing on screen. I tried everything from disabling vsync, unlocking the framerate, FSO off, compatibility mode in xp3 to fullscreen and windowed fullscreen but it didn't help. It's mostly noticeable in the background each time you turn.
