The Shaker sounds like some of the muscle cars in Driv3r and Parallel Lines.

Yes. I remember that engine sound. Most of the vehicle sounds in Driver Parallel Lines were taken from Driv3r.

Fact: Although the cars used by AI/Competitors are the same as the cars we drive, their engine sounds are not the same as ours. So their engine sounds are the same except for 2-3 different engine sounds. There is no variety. But in our case, engine sound varies depending on the car we use. :)

I noticed that other competitors' cars are faster than the stock ones, is there any way to know their stats?

@@nikob535 True. Especially Jack Benton, Sofia Martinez, Jason Walker and (Derby/Blaster XL) Frank Malcov. These have a speed booster given by the game. Even when we use their vehicles (when we use nitro), they can still be faster than us. Unfortunately, we do not know and can't see their "stats".

There are nine ai car sounds (don't know which two are unused) and the sound depends on the driver. For example, ai_03 sounds are for all three cars driven by Jack Benton.

On the game files there is a list of engine sound files for 34 cars,i know there is 45 cars in the game,but some cars have the same engine sounds,splitter and daytana uses same sound and pitch,speed evil and bullet gt uses the same engine sound,chili and chili pepper has the same engine sounds,but the chili pepper has a higher pitch,switchblade and speedshifter has same sound,speedshifter has higher pitch,etc. Flatout 2 has one of the best engine sounds ive ever heard,my fav would be the crusader.

I have the hack with all the vehicles unlocked.... But for PSP.... That game is great.... But the developers had to put the first-person camera in the cockpit with realistic hands on the steering wheel for more realism.... It would have been great to see the crashes from inside the cockpit
