There is a much more violent city track. I don't know what it's called. It starts with a long highway between walls. Then goes a tunnel, where 1-2 NPCs can get wrecked with no mods. Then there is a construction side ending with a 90° turn. I think one can destroy everybody on it in 2 laps with no mods.

Its viper 1999 and it comes with a mod. when car reaches its max speed, about 380km/h, I press brake and if road is long enough somehow it reaches up to 600km/h!! ^^

Honestly, despite how good FlatOut 2 is, I have one big problem with it that prevents me from beating it completely. And it's the fact that it's main focus is destruction of cars and any obstacle on your way, and not actually winning a race. Sure, you can win but until rubberbanding starts to kick in and opponent's AI starts to beating you even despite the fact that you should be faster than them because you upgraded your car. Now, I didn't had this problem with FlatOut 1 and I could beat the game up until few of the final races, where AI started to cheat. Until then, I had a great fun. And that is my problem that, it is not about racing but more about smashing your car in to a pieces and destroying your opponents in the process. So why implement the racing part in to the game? Just remove the part where you need to win and let player have fun, smashing enemy AI bots in to oblivion to earn more score, like in good old arcade racing games. Also, I played FlatOut 2 first time back in 2006 probably in one of the computer clubs, where you pay the money for the time that you wanna play, you sit near the computer and you play alone or with the friends in local online mode. And by myself I played this game much later, like in 2016 or so because I had different games to play. But the rubberbanding and cheating AI is the reason why I never beat FlatOut 2. I beat FlatOut 1 thou, but not FlatOut 2.

The rubberband on Flatout 2 only happens during the last championships, never as a problem to me since i got decent handling + top speed cars to upgrade it to the max and winning points to still keep at first place. The rubberband is not present on the begin and on custom races.

@@Silva_GP Rubberband present since the second races, but it gets really frustrating in third races. And later it becomes just impossible to deal with. No wonder that, after beating few races types, game just simply unlocks the final races type and you can just jump in and beat the game. That is if you have good car. But I'm sure that even a good car doesn't help because again, rubberbanding in this game is just insane.

@@deathcold_longplaysua4846 Nah, i played the game again from 2022 to 2023 on PS2 emalator and noticed the rubberband increasing slowly during the mid championships and get very explicit during the last ones. Is not possible because like i say, if you have a max upgraded fast and grippy car earning maximum of points to keep at first place during the championships, you can finish the career mode.

@@deathcold_longplaysua4846 I played the PC version first a lot of times during my childhood and i confirm the same, there is no rubberband during the begin, only during the 50% of the career mode and get agressive during the last races. The rubberband of Flatout 2 are weak compared to NFS Underground and Hot Pursuit 2 from PS2.
