We doe something similar every spring before the Bermuda Grass greens up..... but what we use is a drum with triangular spikes to punch holes in the sod...Belief is that every where you cut the grass rhizone under the ground a new plat will sprout up.... North Texas hay uses one like we have..... It can be angled for more agressive action......The holes also channel rain and fertilizer into the soil

Nice video. I thought the rental rate was very affordable. We have a ton of hog damage, I’d like to roll our pastures to flatten the damage out. Good job.

Never thought about rolling it after the field is planted now you have access to that I imagine you’ll rent it when you’re planting?

Yes it would have definitely been nice to already do it when planting.

Can it be towed full of water in transport?

If you had a big enough tractor I don't see why not
