These characters are very well developed and the animation is very expressive.

Why does the animation remind me of some pre-school show I watched before and why hasn't his become an actual show? TwT

Thank you! It was my favorite character until I created my newest one K. W. You can see the animatic on my channel. It's called "The Good The Bad and The Squishy "

I think I have watched this as a kid on cartoon network or nickelodeon if I'm right. It feels really weird rewatching this! I have several questions 1. What programs you use for this film 2. How does the animation production work 3. Any advices for cartoonists or beginner cartoonists? Thanks, also this film you made have made in my childhood memories haha
@therealmilowerx6 ай бұрын
1. This was all done traditionally except for color which was colored digitally. We did the animatic digitally as well. I did clean up the storyboard with my brand new Motion Computing LE1600 using a program called Sketchbook Pro which I still use! 2. You start with an idea, and then create a script from it, then you storyboard that idea out like comic book and character designs and background as well as props are pulled from the board and cleaned up for animation. Then you add the voices to it using a video editor making a rough film to see if the story and gags work. From there you animate it and then color it. When you're done with animation you add sfx and music and the titles. 3. Yes draw draw draw. Tah tis the only way you will ever become a professional. Professional artists draw 10 hours a day. If you want to compete with that you must do the same. Learn how to draw the human body well. Watch other types of cartoons and animation besides anime. Thank you for your comments, it made my day!

I came here because apparently some person on TVTropes thought that this was some spinoff of the Dutch animated classic, Purno de Purno.
@therealmilowerx2 жыл бұрын
I had never heard of it but looking it up it's really awful quality. Does this remind you of Purno de Purno?
@ExtremeWreck2 жыл бұрын
@@therealmilowerx It's not awful actually. It's really bizarre, but not TERRIBLE per se. It doesn't really remind me of Purno de Purno as it's a lot more tame. Like this show is mainly about a goat who has a lot of ideas for inventions & works at a restaurant based on Italian food(specifically pizza) whereas Purno de Purno was a bizarre show about Purno who is well a... Purno, a fictional species that is apparently endangered according to Purno himself & he goes on some absolutely wacky adventures. As for why it looks "awful", it's because it was animated on an Amiga 2000 by people who likely didn't have much experience in animation, but wanted to make a cartoon anyway. It is SURREAL to watch, but it's not terrible really. I actually quite enjoyed it & the art style even in season 1 is nice. It's just that the 1st season doesn't animate as smoothly as your usual series(mind you, the 1st season was made in *1989.* This was before the likes of Adobe Flash. It was pretty ahead of its time. While better animations were made on the Amiga computers around the time, Purno's 1st season I find to be charmingly janky). Also to note in that the content you see on it won't really let it be able to pass off as a kids' show anywhere outside of the Netherlands. Not even in Japan would you get away with that one episode in season 4(made in the 2000s & with better animation & a more bizarro art style) where Purno & his friends go to a nudist beach uncensored(no shmex is involved; it's just them being nude). What I'm saying is, this stuff gets crazy. A few other cartoons from the Netherlands existed like the Bluffers & Star Street, but neither of those are as unique/bizarre as Purno de Purno. As for WHY some person on TVTropes thought your pilot was a Purno de Purno spinoff? IDK, maybe someone was thinking about the show having this sorta same aesthetic to it? It confuses me really.

Dude, you're full of hot air. Unless you're just misremembering, no one on TV Tropes made such a claim. I looked at the page's history to see if it had been vandalized in some way at one point, and there was no mention of Purno de Purno whatsoever. Such an odd comment to make...
@ExtremeWreck Жыл бұрын
@@angah82 I didn't misremember. I was looking at the indexes on that show's page.
@angah82 Жыл бұрын
@@ExtremeWreck An index does not imply it is being compared to that show. They're just both a part of "Western Animation of the 2000s" and nothing more. I hope that clears up everything for you.
