The first is Igbankwa(the promise)This is Igbo new year The second celebration is Ngbugbu uzo (first fruits eg maize corn.around end of March. etc Ndiigbo must know that they posses.the calendar of CHUKWU OKIKE ABIAMA. based on moon cycle. Also they must know that this is referred to as God's calendar. Pope Gregory's calendar and Christianity have.failed to destroy one of the oldest civilizations on Gulf of Guinea West Africa.
