Yes it happened to me too. I had never heard of Flavour until 3 months ago when someone DM on Instagram and we began talking on WhatsApp. He was very attentive for months, up until he asked for money and didn’t get it. I never believed I was talking to the real Flavour. I just enjoyed talking to the imposter. In all I became familiar and I learned about a new, very talented artist I never heard of prior. So it was a win for me.

Same ! Someone contacted me on Facebook pretending to be him. I didn’t know who flavour was . We were talking for about a month and something told me to look him up and when I did I noticed the real flavour had millions on followers. So I was like no way this can be him. He was sending me pictures of his children and even video called me on whatsapp and it was his face (I’m not sure how he pulled that off). What nailed it for me was when he was sending me gifts supposedly then I got a email saying that I need to pay a fee of $1150 to get the items. Chile I cursed that man out to Haiti and back . That’s what I get for being naive at first. But what he did was gain a new fan because I had no idea who this artist was but he is very talented. I call it free promotion. Lol

I am glad that he came out because I think that the same person or some one else is pretending to be him . I live in the Caribbean the person requests me on Instagram and then my WhatsApp....how ever they didn't scam me for money ,, but said he was in love with me .after I asked him why would someone like you fall for me ? I was given "management" info and was asked to purchase a Fan Card but I haven't and don't plan to. I’ve only now discovered this website, it’s such a shame that people do this stuff , I’ve been in this situation only started three weeks ago, never heard of Flavour however I got sucked in, I was so impressed with his music and success that I started following him, the person who is trying to scam me must be close to him as he knows the most intimate details of this lovely talented African musician and song writer, I’ve offered to supply the phone number used by this person plus the voice messages text etc to help catch this scoundrel he even has a charity link to send money to his charity to help children and women which as far as I can see Flavour genuinely helps local communities. Please I wish these people can be jailed for impersonating decent people

Don’t give anyone money. Flavor has money. He doesn’t need it. I know about one that was using this baseball player’s pictures and name. He declined video chat and when he finally did, you can tell the video chat was fake and he’ll only stay on for 30 seconds. It’s not one person scamming using that same person. There’s a bunch of them.

I was just scammed on my facebook account saying he was Flavour of Africa, he told me he loved me and wanted me to visit him! He also called me on google chat and pretended he was him! I am so devastated by this and this just happened to me !! I am a big fan of Flavours music I'm from the US. He then asked me to buy him a stream card ! The next day both accounts were gone ! I'm really upset about all of this! When I asked him to face time me he said I had to talk with his manager for approval ! This was aterrible experiance for me !!!!

I'm talking to a guy right now who claims to be flavor who tell me that I should buy his fan club and I should talk to his manager Benjamin he tells me that way I can get all the support I will be able to see him come backstage yada yada I don't believe it at all why would these scammers be using flavors name flavors should do a concert for all of us as being scammed privately I can't get any pictures I asked for pictures of the dogs if he tells me that the manager tells him he can't be on video chat do I need to see his ID it's really him he really thinks I believe it I just go along and play with it but these guys should really be caught.
