wow your guys reaction really felt so relatable to me i LOVED that. Was so hyped to see someone still reacting to the album for the first time (eventhough youve already listened to some songs) i felt what you were saying about their name and how it could shock some people etc i've been going to therapy and rehab for almost 10 years now (started when i was 16 yo) and those guys probably were the first to ever affect me in such a way, that i finally realized that i am not REALLY doing all of this for my own good. I felt like i need to wipe out my own mental illness and get "healthy" by not relating to self harming thoughts any longer, which is an idealized goal i guess... but instead these boys kinda led me into accepting "you know what, imma be an addict with tendencies to suicidal thoughts for my whole life probably, why am i even fighting myself so much. why not trying to accept it and tryna get the best outcome of what i can be, in order to feel happy. at least better than i felt before." dont get me wrong, its not like im celebrating my bad habits because of them, its more like they showed me the process of healing is a spectrum. its not like some people say "i had depression for 3 years and i finally overcame it" because i tried that all my youth. i know see them and realize, its okay to be somewhere in between and get confident with myself. i dont need to seek what society has presented me, as the ideal way to overcome mental health issues, because its not designed for me (or people like us) its probably even designed from mentally healthy people who tried to get people into a state of being "normal" and yea fuck that im just doing my best. i hope my text isnt too confusing or perceived as heroizing depression and substance abuse cause no, its the hardest and most painful thing in my life ever and id do a lot to just get rid of it. but since i cant to entirely erase it, i dont want to waste my life trying to "kill this dark part of me entirely" but much rather start to live instead, while trying to let my demons out in a controlled manner (just like ruby said haha) comment turned out much longer than intended whatever, love you guys

Sing me a lullaby is my favorite album but others you should check out are some eps and tapes. The ones with Germ are great but Gray/Grey is awesome. It’s crazy seeing Scrim come to God especially since if you listen to their early stuff. It’s pretty amazing

I'd say as far as posthumous music goes, juice wrld, Mac and peep r exceptions. Juices music he wanted out and alot of the revenue goes to his mom and the nonprofit she started. Mac already had pretty much finished his last project circles that his lead producer had to only do some fine tuning and peeps mom is who is releasing peeps music on KZbin. Xxx is definitely a nightmare example of grasping at samples and demos desperately trying to get an album.
