I know he's not a flawed wrestler, but you can't talk about amazing human beings in wrestling without mentioning DDP.

Top Dolla says after that top rope mishap, he went to the doctor and found out he had a diagnosis he wasn’t aware of, and that Flop Dolla moment literally saved his life. Respect.

I’m pre-diabetic and the way he discussed his feet that night and not being able to keep his balance helped me take note of when I can’t do the same and manage my own health better. He will always have my respect for that.

I get that this is list based on community service, but there is more than one way to be a great human being. And I think Shad Gaspard crosses that threshold.

One thing I dislike about the IWC is the hateful nature fans can have when they don’t like a wrestler. For example guys like Top Dolla, theory and Solo seem to get such intense hate ( people saying they should be fired or they are horrible at their job) despite being good human beings. I’m not saying you have to force yourself to like someone but at least show respect or hope for them to improve instead of straight up wishing the worst for them, all 3 men have improved since receiving this hate anyways .
@bhhdty2272Ай бұрын
@@BryRobinson please read the whole comment before commenting, I literally said “ it doesn’t mean you have to like them” I’m not a fan of the young bucks but I’m not gonna be like “ they need to be taken off tv and released” lmao I’m always hoping they evolve and become better because no one wants to see someone be fired. It’s about being a decent human being, I’d understand if you wanted someone like Jericho or Brock gone bc they’ve been accused of terrible things .

He’s certainly not “flawed” as a wrestler, but I wanna shout out Kyle O’Reily for helping me personally. Last summer, I was diagnosed with pre-diabetes and thought about quitting wrestling because I was afraid of having a diabetic incident in the middle of the ring. But then, I read an interview Kyle O’Reily did where he discussed being diabetic and wrestling (I knew he had diabetes prior) and I thought “If he can do it, so can I.”

I don't care how good your wrestling skills are. I'd rather meet 'jobbers' that are nice people than big stars that are scumbags. I also feel bad for Goldberg because he probably is a great guy but he gets a lot of heat for beneficial bookings decisions that are out of this control. Like who wouldn't wanna take a championship win?

I run my own independent wrestling podcast called Marks For Wrestling Podcast ( on Spotify, Amazon music and Apple podcasts). It is a passion project really as i have enjoyed wrestling for many many years and just want to give something back to the wrestling community. Is there any advice that you could give to help a small independent podcast continue to grow?
