For me the really most different thing about the sound is, that it does not generate the often annoying "overdriven diodes or OpAmps" type sounds. I can barely stand the spectrum anymore that those devices create. The Bogner pedals are MUCH closer to a real tube amp behaviour and sound than any other pedals I have heard in the last years. I bought a used version of the older version (which is still slightly more flexible) - which I simply LOVE.

That is some serious tonage out of a little pedal! It was bringing some inspired playing out of your fingers...even the pinky was used! Wow...do I really need another distortion pedal? Little GAS devil on my shoulder says, "Buy one now!" Lol Great demo as always HP!

Couldn't agree more with this review Henning excellent demo. I got myself one of these this week. Went to rehearsal Wednesday. I never turned it off just used the guitar volume to control clean and dirty. We are working on Diamonds and Rust like the Priest live version faux acoustic - to high gain. Pedal stayed on throughout. By the way GuitarGuitar in UK are selling them for £99 at the moment.

I'd go for the mini.... smaller, cheaper.... I don't think you'd need the extra switches on the big one! Small one for sure!

The Spider valves were great amps..... once you rip the line6 out. I have gotten several for $100. They're amazing platforms to build on, basically the clean channel of a Shiva.

As I’ve heard other viewers state in recent, if you want to really have the full, real, shit yourself with rainbow vomiting, unicorn like kittens of pure awesomeness experience, you must! Must!!!!! Do a full unboxing and review of the real, all TUBE, work of absolute black magic/wizardry that is, the Bogner Ecstasy! I bought my Ecstasy after buying a Bogner blue because the pedal was so amazing, I simply had to see what the real thing was like, long story short... I will be buried with that amp.

I hope one day you will record demos like Johan Segeborn: classic Gibson or strat, crank the tube amp, use an attenuator, use great speakers, and rely on mics (one close, and one for the room), rather than the OX.
