instead of using fruity balance, you should use fruity send, it does the same thing, but instead of the volume you can use a “dry” knob that is full and not 80%, this will make sure you dont screw up the folume because automations clips dont have a snap to grip option when adjusting the amount

You can click under the name of the plug in in the bottom of mixer fader and open up the plug list without going to the insert. Like you did when you opened fab filter pro q 3 But the empty insert will open all plugins directly
