I love the Solis Pocket. I'm hoping to get one myself this year. I think that it's a great layout, and use or space. As much as I would like to have a 4x4, I don't think that it's important for an RV. I can always hike to remote camping spots. Safe travels

100%. if you keep a large backpack in the van and store all of your camping gear, you can go just about anywhere. We always carry a tent and some camping supplies in case that type of situation arises.

Looks like a great set up! I really like the Murphy bed. Looks like you have some decent garage space. Does the solar panel keep up with the refrigerator and other use for 12 V?

Thank you! The solar has done great. Keeps the fridge running and can use lights and max air fan all night and the battery doesn’t even lose a light.

So far haven’t needed the 4x4 so no regrets yet

Been looking at getting one of these. As don't need loads of space or go off road...

Hello. I will be renting a Solis in a month. I am trying to figure out a mount for my tablet whether on the windshield or in a cup holder. Do you have a suggestion?

I'm thinking about getting a Solis Pocket. Seems like you really like yours. What do you think about the Murphy bed? Is it comfortable for extended use camping? I like going out for weeks.
@ChanceP2 жыл бұрын
So far so good. We only have stayed in it for a few days at a time so far, but soon we will be taking a trip for 2 weeks and staying in it. I think it will do just fine.

Great video. How many days could you go without plugging in? Does your coach battery recharge while you drive?
@ChanceP2 жыл бұрын
We hardly ever plug in. the battery charges with solar and also when you drive. And we been driving it everyday as a daily vehicle

Haven't looked at your old videos yet, but did you go from a 5th wheel to a Van or have both? Nevermind I see you have both.
@ChanceP2 жыл бұрын
We full time in a fifth wheel and also have the van and Jeep/overland setup. But we are looking into maybe downsizing to a class c like the one you have Navion 24D.
@rvlifediy2 жыл бұрын
@@ChanceP we had a 5th wheel, and then to a diesel pusher and added a van, then to this class C to downsize. Much easier to get around but miss the space as well. It's definitely a journey
