I apologize if it's not clear what I'm trying to say; I'm not a native English speaker, or however you say someone who speaks English in general. I wanted to comment on your video because the same question you address in your video crossed my mind And honestly, I completely agree. It's incredible how, over the years, one truly values the effort put into something, whether it's training or learning something new. However, that fear still lingers, doesn't it? It's funny because one might believe that as an "adult," these concerns would fade away, but no, in fact, you might become more determined in some things, yet new fears and difficulties arise, even mentally. As a child, you have the "ability" to not care about many things. As an adult, time, to name one factor, is something taken into account. I'm 30, and I tell myself, "Darn, I'm not young anymore, or I'm ceasing to be so... and there are so many things I wanted to do, and I haven't even come close to doing them." On the other hand, that thought also helps you stop fooling yourself about what you really want and encourages you to take responsibility for yourself, in the best cases, when you're not in doomer mode.

I don't usually leave comments, but something about this really spoke to me - I'm in a really similar spot. Ambitious kid who had all kinds of interests but never fully sent it with any of them. I recently graduated, and I share the mindset you're talking about. Or, I'm trying to, at least. Its scary to fail, but its how you grow and become better. No one was perfect at something the first time they tried it. Glad this video found me, and I think we've both got bright futures ahead of ourselves.
