You really have a knack for finding cool tools. Quality vintage American tools are great. $2 for that nice Craftsman hobby vice is a steal. I also like the way you have dedicated electric motors for wire brushing and buffing/polishing in your shop. This saves wheel and arbor changeouts. Great tools.

George, I'm always amazed at the prices you and Scoutcrafter pay for tools at flea markets. Here in the Missouri, they would want $6-8 for each of those Wright screwwdrivers, and ditto with the prices for all the other stuff too.
@Uwannawatch5 ай бұрын
I am surrounded by flea markets. I have 4 in my immediate area. So I think that's a factor that keeps the prices in check, i have seen a rise on some things though.

I could be wrong, but if my memory is correct, the vanadium tool company was in southern Ohio. I have come across a couple of thier wrenches over the years. Bummer that you have not found any Kreuter in all those wrenches! I am always on the lookout for them. They must be pretty rare.

J'aime le chercheur d'angle et de moulures, j'en ai un en métal, à qui j'ai fait faire une boîte en bois pour le protéger car assez fragile, je vais m'en acheter un en plastique plus résistant. Wonderful tool haul. Its funny you would find those wright 9125's I have exactly two of them, same number and the blades are different. One is a cabinet tip and the other is more of a standard keystone tip. I'm really surprised you found an SK #2 phillips.they are hard to find in decent shape. I don't need anymore punches either. I like those Bonney's. You did great.

Why so many tweezers? In my experience they sense when they are going to be needed and go into hiding. Not quite like 10mm sockets which travel to an alternate universe, never to be seen by their former owners/users again. The tweezers reappear a day or too after they are no longer needed.

2:10 is a version of what might be my favorite tool. I use the Stanley and I'm on my second one. I bought the first one in New Britain, CT when I was framing a house there. Used it for years then then one of the forks busted....I kept going for years after that. Eventually it gave out..snapped in half. For years and years l looked through yard sales with no luck. Then one day...there was a Harry Homeowner tool box and I opened it only to check for this tool. Got it! 2:10
