I also lived in Tokyo for four years but forty years ago, teaching English. I tried very hard to learn Japanese but as I had to learn to read and write the language at the same time, it was complicated and difficult. It's much easier to learn a language if you can read it and and look things up easily in a dictionary. I envied people who could learn just by hearing the language spoken. Nevertheless. It was a fascinating endeavor even though it was a little humiliating. I loved antique shopping in Japan and could bike to many second hand and antique stores and take the train to the Sunday temple markets.

It's so impressive ! Thank you for loving Japan and teaching english for Japanese 😊 I'm so glad to know that I have audience like you. I know how hard it is for foreigners to learn Japanese. Thanks to technology now 😂🙏 but I am also struggling with learning French. and since I live in countryside , and corona, my language level ..etc, I don’t have much friends here yet. I think That is one of the reason why I'm so into Flea market to see French cultures and meet new people 😊

@@SumiinFrance The important thing is to try to learn the language. I had many friends in Japan who didn't even try to learn Japanese. For Japanese to learn French must also be difficult because of the differences in grammar. I only studied French for one year in high school but it was enough for me to realize how complicated it is. Nouns having genders, the conjugation of verbs are things that are hard to learn and remember. And French pronunciation is also hard. My mother tongue is Danish but my family moved to America when I was nearly five years old and I had to learn English. It is easier to learn when you are very young and immersed in the culture through school. I understand it may be hard for you to meet people and make friends. That's true for foreigners in every country. Many people are not welcoming to people who are not like them or who haven't mastered their language. But it's great if you can enjoy life anyway. It's great to experience life in other countries from our own. It broadens your understanding of people and life. I wonder why you are living in France, if I may ask. Do you watch videos made by other Japanese people living in Europe? I watch several living in France, one in Italy, and one in Sweden. I think it's a little lonely for some if them. I enjoy your videos and will keep watching.

Me gusta tu compra. Me parecen platos finos, elegantes y delicados a la vez. Compaginan muy bien. Y buen precio.
