Good Morning! I hope everyone has a wonderful Memorial Day. We were pretty busy yesterday with the flea market and I didn't get to answer as many comments as I would have liked. I just wanted to put a little context behind this two part video. First of all, some of you noticed that we left quite a bit behind and were a bit selective. There were a few reasons for this. We try to be conscientious of how much inventory we currently have or anticipate coming in. We knew that this visit to Eric was a prelude to a potentially BIG weekend at the flea market. And sure enough, as you'll see tomorrow, we ended up with FOURTEEN boxes this weekend. With only KC and I listing, that's going to take a while to get through. I don't want to end up with another third floor situation. Second of all, I will also be the first to admit that I miss things and I overlook things--even things that I have knowledge about and I see when I'm editing. The way I look at it, someone else got a great item when Eric got the boxes to the flea market--and I'm okay with that. Hey, maybe you'll see it pop up on Ebay or Etsy from another local reseller and could show them some support. And lastly, some of you expressed disappointment that I didn't pick up items that you like or collect. I try to cater to your tastes as best I can, but I sometimes find it hard to break from my comfort zone and picking routines. Occasionally, I will buy things that I wouldn't normally grab for resale. There have been occasions where the items sell well or not so much--and I pay to learn. I'm really sorry if this video (or yesterday's video) stressed you out! That was not my intention and I hope my explanation helped a little. I just thought it would be fun to dig through some boxes together. I hope you all have nice day and I'll see you tomorrow.

Everyone will see things they like that you didn't get, that's how picking through boxes or tables at a flea market goes, don't let it worry you. That being said, I really wish you had picked up that LuRay gravy boat, lol. I do like seeing things that I can then put on my list to keep hunting for so that will go on my list. Love these videos,so nice to be back out there, even vicariously.

I was locked out of my big old impala four door back in the late 80s at the grocery store in the rural little village of Climax nc . Not as much there as there is now. There was a post office and a grocery store barber and beauty shop and a couple of country stores that sold gas , beer and cigarettes, etc A volunteer fire dept. A little old lady came out of the grocery store with her purchases took one look at my plight, said hold on I ll have that open in a jiffy@ she scooted across the road to the fire dept got a coat hanger and came back and popped the lock! I was stunned!❤❤😎

As a 49 year old daughter of parents who were antique dealers for 50+ years, it drove me crazy seeing so many items being passed up. AAAAAH! The funny thing is, when I was 20, and traveling with my parents to do shows, I swore up and down that I would never get into the business. Now I've been thrifting and selling a few things. Just testing the waters though, because the market is soooo saturated. It's easy to get discouraged, but you guys keep me in a positive frame of mind. Do you guys ever go to Burton, Ohio for the Geauga flea market? I haven't been there for years and I'm hoping this COVID garbage will calm down soon. I'm dying to go!
