I was All Ireland Champion Dancer for 4 yrs in my teens. I am now 84 yrs of age living in South Africa for the past 40yrs. I married a South African man who has passed away. I still miss Mullingar. Norah Kearney

Norah Kearney, I remember with great clarity yourself and your Dear Dad in Austin Friars Street, I was a Pupil of your Irish Dancing School on a Wed afternoon if I recall correctly in a rear room of your home?, my memory of you is very clear, on reflection I realise you were an extremely attractive Irish Colleen with jet black hair with a smile and attitude that was very pleasing and easy on the eye!I I also recall your Dad chatting to Mrs Harvey from respective Window Sills with Jim Dalton, Sonny and Billy running the Hackney Business and Charlie Coughlan and Molly Malone next to yourselves!? delighted to hear you are well in S.A. and I’m sure you saw lots of Photographs of the Fleadh in Mullingar in 2022/23…Great Memories of Great Times in a Mullingar at a time when we were less sophisticated etc… My Sister was Anne who Died in 1957 aged 7 Years….
