The air war is but a part but, as fascinating and compelling as any other aspect.. and the fairey albacore. another fascinating aeroplane.

Malta during WWII (1940-45) was the British Empire's airfield to bomb Italy and Tunisia,and of vital importance for the landings in Sicily and Calabria.
