When you rolled the die for setup, the rules state that you should mark of the first 3 boxes and gain a license and a boat in the rolled fish type.

Would have been better if the video was more zoomed on the score pads. Can't see anything. It wasn't necessary to have box and rulebook in the frame 🤕

Hello DaniCha, I am just starting to play having just constructed the nifty Fleet Dice Tower I got from EG games. Certainly cheaper than a meal at McD's it is a nice shelf item when not in cardboard durable use. :D Between you and Beyond Solitair I won't need the rule book either....

I didn't know there was a Fleet Dice Tower! That's so cool!! If you played already, how did you like the game?

@@DaniCha I haven't yet. I have to paint the edges of the dice tower fiii---rrrst! :) It's made of cardboard (like for tiles), so some epoxy etc. to make it a solid display item. Nothing like retiring, nobody can call you silly.

You could do a feature video for games that use fish. So, Fleet, Palm Island, Isle of Cats, that's all I can come up with now...

I got this game recently from a FLGS but haven't started playing it yet. Thanks for sharing your playthrough! Edited: I'm just curious. Can we use the captain cards in the solo game for starting bonus instead of rolling a die?

I guess it is up to you if you want to use the captain cards. I believe the instructions do not state to use them. But the beauty of board gaming is that it can include “house” rules, as long as you have fun!

In round 5 during town phase the Captain should have gone for oyster instead of taking market die, which would be shared later on.
