Could be a huge improvement over the Bondi 8. Hoka's supercritical EVA is awesome in the Mach 6.

I've used the Bondi since the first year they came out. That's running 18 miles a week and after 52 weeks I would buy another pair. It worked well with me and helped me by avoiding plantar fasciitis . The big problem I had was the outer sole that would wear out after about 8 to 9 months and then I would need some shoe goo to build up the lateral rear outer sole for the last 3 months. When Hoka decided to keep the Bondi 8 around for 2 years , I left them and started to run and walk with the Asics Nimbus 25. That shoe is everything that the Bondi is and as of 9 months now there is no significant wear in the outer sole. This is a major statement since I was a Hoka guy way before they became popular. The Nimbus line works for me really well and I can get a pair in the 25s and the 26s for $99 and $120 respectively. You always get discounts on previous models especially when a company comes out with newer models every year. I'm thinking it took 2 years for Hoka to come out with the Bondi 9 because the 8 was still selling very well.

Let's see this shoe On Foot. I have so many Bondi 8s that a few of them I've never worn. This 9, looks very intriguing. Im sure i will have my kids wearing this one.

I just out on a brand new pair of Bondi 8. Still the same tight toe box, lack of arch support, not pleased. The Glycerin Max fits 200% better, and is a joy to walk in for miles. The Sky Flow is snug, but not painful, also good to walk in for miles. I'm not purchasing a Bondi 9.

I loved the Bondi 7, but the Bondi 8 was too firm and not good to me (just my opinion). Hoping that the Bondi 9 is a return to form because I am getting tired of the Clifton.

before i looked the video, i imagine this shoes can be H2H with Superblast, but after known the weight, oh damn bondi is being bondi, 290gr is for easy run & recovery far from Superblast
