@Red Whale I remember in the proko video "how to make your digital paintings look more traditional" or something like that the artist recommend trying to do your painting in one layer. I think he said it's because it makes you have to "problem solve" more. I want to start doing my paintings in mostly one or two layers too but it's so hard. 😟 Another artist I like Vetyr also paints with one layer most of the time

And it’s awesome how you can draw all the animal mixes and everything. Years and years of practise I guess She's painting since she's 13 (don't quote me on that) and I think she did some reference drawings (looking at an image and drawing what you see) for a long time aswell
