Fleetwood Mac Alternative: The Empty Pockets

I was introduced to The Empty Pockets through one of those crazy links on Facebook. This time I was happily surprised! Within months of discovering their music, they were the back up band for Al Stewart's tour (with Firefall) that came to a town nearby. I was able to get front row tickets and meet Erika Brett. They're not flashy, but their music is real and so are they!

I saw these folk about a year ago, touring w/ Al Stewart and Gary Wright. They opened, then backed both the Wright and Stewart. Really solid, glad to see you giving them some attention.

They are a solid, great band. Al Stewart chose them as an opening act, and was so impressed, he made them his touring band. They are also super nice people.

Nice review. I have seen the Empty Pockets twice in concert now, in New Hampshire and in Vermont. They are amazing live. Everyone should check them out. I got to talk to both Josh and Erika in NH and they are so nice and down to earth. Amazing !!

I think they had Nick Hampton on keyboards at one point but he left and is touring with the "Duponts."
