Stevie and Christine look like some goddesses from another dimension... the whole band looked incredible in this show. Gotta love how the crowd sings along to this masterpiece, I’ve never seen anything like it 😍

Very surprised at the negativity, Stevie still holds a tune and sounds exactly like herself. Brilliant for 70. Think I'd be really moved if I was lucky enough to see this live.

Her voice does not sound the same, is not the voice of a young woman, but it is by no means a voice. That's the voice of an old singer, it sound's amazing.

She is singing wayyy lower in tone than she used to. I honestly think some of that is back in the 70s she was just doing her thing and NOW, she is actually using voice coaches and all that. So she is working in a difference range than before. But she does not sound the same.
@jmars98162 жыл бұрын
I think the notes are still there. She can obviously hit them, maybe alittle less endurance but what she is doing here is light-years of what the crowd is expecting in the best way possible. We'll look at this performance in awe years down the road. Ppl did whitney the same way, it's the same performances ppl say that she was out of her prime where she wowed with her voice and her musicality was brilliant. I think the same of Stevie. The notes aren't the problem. She can sing them she doesn't want to, she WROTE THE SONG AND TO ME MADE IT SOUND WAYYY BETTER. SHE WAS AHEAD OF HER TIME, TAKE HER VOCALS AND PUT A EDM MIX WITH IT. IT COULD BE A TOP 40 HIT RIGHT NOW IN 2022! STEVIE IS BRILLIANT!
I’m so happy they got the opportunity to get together and bang out more. The fans and the band all together. Priceless moment!

@@maxvalenz9506 The song is indeed timeless. Stevie's voice, however, is obviously not. Check out the "official music video" of this song elsewhere on KZbin. That's how her voice used to sound - much less gravel and more tonal quality.

@@mijomcgyver6270 people age, whys that a problem?
@mijomcgyver62703 жыл бұрын
@@Cactusfruitsquisher The fact that she's aged isn't a problem for me. Her voice, however - which I think used to be beautiful - is now IMO nowhere near worthy of spending the big bucks concert tickets go for to hear. It's a shame, but sometimes one really needs to realize that they just can't do what they once could and it's time to call it quits.

Lyrics Here !!!! Now here you go again You say you want your freedom Well, who am I to keep you down It's only right that you should Play the way you feel it But listen carefully To the sound of your loneliness Like a heartbeat drives you mad In the stillness of remembering what you had And what you lost And what you had And what you lost Thunder only happens when it's rainin' Players only love you when they're playin' Say women, they will come and they will go When the rain washes you clean, you'll know You'll know Now here I go again I see the crystal visions I keep my visions to myself It's only me who wants to wrap around your dreams And have you any dreams you'd like to sell? Dreams of loneliness Like a heartbeat drives you mad In the stillness of remembering what you had And what you lost And what you had Ooh, what you lost Thunder only happens when it's rainin' Players only love you when they're playin' Women, they will come and they will go When the rain washes you clean, you'll know Oh, thunder only happens when it's rainin' Players only love you when they're playin' Say women, they will come and they will go When the rain washes you clean, you'll know You'll know You will know Oh, you'll know
