This was Bob's big tune for Fleetwood Mac, so its understandable that Lyndsey's singing of the tune isn't up to how Bob sang it, BUT that kick-ass guitar solo that Lyndsey lies down is awesome! Christine McVie's Hammond playing is almost call and response with Lyndsey's guitar solo. Also, you can't beat the powerhouse of Mick Fleetwood and John McVie. By this time in their careers, these two guys have been playing together for about 8 years. Such tight bass and drum playing on this track. Thanks for posting this one!

This is from the '75 tour promoting their first album with Buckingham and Nicks, the one that spawned Rhiannon and Over My Head. Lindsey is an amazing guitarist and vocalist (I watched them live on the Tusk tour), but I have to say, here it wasn't a good decision. And I think I saw Christine having a "WTF" look on her face watching Stevie :)

Yeah, okay. I get it. Welch's version is better. Yeah. Agreed. But this version isn't THAT bad and beats the holy piss out of pretty much everything I hear over the airwaves these days (unless it's an oldies station). And it's always nice to see Stevie sauntering around the stage.

@@jennifersman7990 Why should they ? No one said Lindsay Buckingham can't sing. He's just not right for this song. With Welch gone, Christine should have taken the lead vocal on this song, because her voice and tone are more suited.

Thanks for uploading. It's very interesting to hear and see Lindsey replace Bob Welch. They are two different guitarists, though I hear Lindsey recreating some of the original "jazz" chords and, putting his own style on the song.

It's the same old story Seems to come down from long ago Two friends having coffee together Something flies by their window Might be out on that lawn Which is wide, at least half of a playing field There’s no explaining what your imagination Can make you see and feel Seems like a dream You got me hypnotized I hear talk about Mexico Where a man flies over mountains and hill He don't need an airplane or some kind of engine And he never will Oh you know it's a meaningless question To ask if those stories are right It’s...the feeling you get when you're hypnotized It seems like a dream You got me hypnotized It seems like a dream You got me hypnotized That’s right. It seems like a dream You got me hypnotized. It seems like a dream You got me hypnotized. It seems like a dream You got me hypnotized.
