@@Anonymous-sg4tr that's all that matters! The awesome thing about drumming, and most things actually, is that as long as you put yourself out there and try new things, you will definitely improve. I try to cover a wide variety of genres on my channel for that very reason! Niches are all cool and all, but I don't like limiting myself to a niche

Very nice! Agree with the one who said timing might need some improvement, but the rest is awesome. It sounds like a very easy song to play given to the simple feels + tempo, but it gets terribly hard when you give it a go on the drumset. Also, 4:25 has no shit to do with the song but it's great haha. Keep it up man! Good stuff
@CodyConroy4 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the feedback, Francisco! Been doing a lot more with metronomes lately. Definitely not the most enjoyable way to practice (I learned drums by just playing to tunes), but it's super important at becoming a stronger drummer

very good, a few small steps from great. Timing meeds a bit more improvement, and the sound of youre snare (picollo?) sounds bad, could be the microphone possibly.

First I like to congratulate you on having a go, it's a hard enough song to play and then the added pressure of being recorded live to how many people yeah well done. Next time maybe try to watch what Mick's doing like he plays the hi hat on the off beat to the Bass drum, lot's of quiet cymbal and other added percussion at the begging and some other stuff as well, but as I said before good stuff for putting yourself out there man.

Great playing, but added in way too much that isnt there... I have trawled YT trying to find a drum cover of this song and no one does it without adding bits in.... To be fair yours is the best cover i have seen around yet, but would be nice to hear it done the way Mick Fleetwood recorded it... side note, just a wee bit racing off at times
@CodyConroy5 жыл бұрын
I definitely agree that there were times I was a little off tempo. Will also focus on keeping covers more in tune with the original version of the song since it seems many people would prefer that! Thanks for the comment, Scotty!

@@CodyConroy Cool.. we all do it...easy to get carried away a bit... not easy to play in perfect time to a recording...
