There was a lot of goa/ebm cross contamination in the 90's. You could find the occasional goth at goa raves back then.

Astral Projection started out as SFX in 1989 as a New Beat/Techno project, before shifting towards Goa and finally renaming to Astral Projection in 1994. Check out Techno Terror (90) Monster Mania (91), Allah Acbar (92) and Different Atmosphere (93), quite nice to see the transition. They could have gone for something fancier, though, maybe even something "new"; M-Run does very oldschool sounds, I feel like Cognitive Disorder or Ethereal Resonator would've fit in amazingly well, or Radical Distortion with 24db or Evil Machine. Still, awesome to see them even doing that in the first place.
