Living in the country, a young bird is going to the big city to try and make a career as a singer. After she found a job, her boss is very mean to her and throws her out on the cold winter streets. Fortunately, the friend she left behind at home in Hawaii is coming along and saves her.

She just left him without talking to him in person & with a indecent letter. Of course she ends up regreting it later when she gets kicked out into the cold. Just goes to show you that you gotta be careful with the choices you make. I felt sorry that poor little guy was freezing his feathers off, looking for her.

Here's how it seems to go down in these "Girls leaves with male band" stories. At one time or another, the lead male wants a lil' somethin' extra and when the female decides not to give it up, he kicks her out. Seen this happen and heard about it way to often, especially in the old days. She may have been perfect for the job, but some males get sour when rejected for sex in instances where he uses sex as leverage for accepting her into the band.
