I’m from Ferndale (Jakes hometown), I graduated from Ferndale high school last year. Jake was my coach for 3 years when he came home. He then bought my parents fitness center which was called “thrive community fitness” which he renamed “The Locker Room”, so I was able to develop a special bond with him over the years especially during my senior season. Speaking for me and my teammates, Jake is an amazing dude, everyone at home loves him and his high moral character give everyone so much respect for him. I’m still in contact with him where he’ll check in on me every now and then and see how I’m doing as I’m sure he does with some of my former teammates and friends. He wrote each a Senior a letter, which he gave out at our banquet. Talking about his experience and relationships with each of us among other things, that gesture describes Jake as a person. Just wanted to express my personal experience. Nothing but Love and Respect for Jake.

I work out at Locker Room going on 3 years now. Being from Blaine and Army Veteran, Jake not only is a good motivator in the early morning gym, but he gives out the best discount for Veterans and than "Thanks" each of us for serving. I've NEVER had a millionaire shake my hand to thank me. I was more "star struck" and almost speechless at his being human. Yall sold family fitness to the best person and keeping it strong.

Wow!!! Saying this dude was the going to be the "Savior of Husky football........." is a complete understatement. We hear about Jake as a high schooler and all through the off season coming into his freshman year. For a once proud program like UW at the time, we were searching for anyone to get behind after the horrific seasons leading up to him. The pressure he felt probably would have crushed anyone else, but he lived up to the hype for the most part and restored some excitement and pride for us Dawgs. I'm glad to see he's happy and content.

That alone takes guts! He then stuck it out for all four years and with the help of a more competent head coach, helped turn the program around. Unfortunately he took a physical pounding during those years. I'm just glad everything turned out great for him, he earned it! Rock on Jake! Thank you!

Locker was an amazing player who was put into a bad situation. Being on that dysfunctional Titans team with Jeff Fisher and the terrible offensive line around him destroyed his body and his career. Jeff Fisher is a terrible coach and the fact he had so many chances amazes me (Ole 8-8 Jeff.) Locker put everything he had into football even when he was getting murdered every single week. I'm glad he walked away. He made some money, lived his dream, and in my opinion he won't be remembered as a failure but a victim of Jeff Fisher.

The best example is Pat Tillman. Pat was good. Not elite but not a bum. He could have stayed with the NFL and had guaranteed playing time every game. Pat decided to join the service out of honor and respect. He could have stayed with the NFL and not a single person would have said anything negative about it. And dude gave his life waving a white flag to save his fellow soldiers from friendly fire. He could have stayed hunkered down behind the rocks like everyone else. Instead he made the decision to stand up just like he did leaving the NFL. He always made the noble choice. It was the last decision he ever made in his life. Was a noble one.

I thought Jake Locker had a depressing life after football, But I am very pleased to find out that he is more successful than ever.

Dope video, I always wrote Jake Locker off as a bust and disappointment but seeing this really enlightened me. And football ain’t everything, he’s happy and has a good life. That’s wassup

He played for the eagles but was trash
@dotdotwav5 жыл бұрын
L He was on the Eagles for a while. Teams are just concerned with his size because he’s really small and can’t have a long career with today’s hard hitting line backers

He is on the eagles practice squad, as an eagles fan I was hoping he would take on sproles roll but he just doesn't play that good yet

I was there in the Carrier Dome for Locker's first start as a freshman. Cuse fans went home disappointed that night as Locker was all over the place.

You should do a video about Jason White. I remember when Jason White went to camp his rookie year after college. His knees were already shredded brisket by then, and had endured several surgeries. In a practice, he took a pretty hard hit. Right then and there, he told the coaches he was done and quit football on the spot. White realized the next hard hit he took could land him in a wheelchair or saddled with a walker the rest of his life. I know he's got a chain of sports apparel stores in Oklahoma, so he's doing pretty well.
