Bone Thugs-n-Harmony is a legendary rap group. Lean back and listen to Flesh-n-Bone lay out how he started writing rap songs at 12 and was beatboxing with, Krayzie Bone, and Layzie Bone in their junior high school math class. Flesh-nBone shares how he and his family were living on government checks but he never stopped dreaming big. He always thought his basketball skills would bring him fame and fortune and make him the next Michale Jordan. He was a college recruit and top notch hoopster. But he didn't realize that what would make him famous was his rapping. He and his boys Krayzie Bone and Layzie Bone got hooked up with Easy E and they became the biggest rap band in the world. But with his new found fame came problems. Drugs became a way of the life and before he knew it, he was making platinum albums while strung out on PCP. It caught up with him and Flesh-n-Bone couldn't even function. He got arrested and was a drug addict and he had to break off from the group. He was sentenced to 13 years for drugs and gun possession and did nine years of hard time. It rocked his world. He had to watch is boys continue their fame making multiple gold records from behind bars. He went from rapping to rioting and just trying to survive. That was all it took. he made a promise to himself to kick the addiction and get his act together. This is one story you don't want to miss.

I know the real Bone/Eazy E fans know but there’s a lot of people who don’t know or seem to forget how important this man is to Hip Hop. That this is the man who got bone out of Cleveland to eazy e. He worked and hustled hard to get his boys out of there. Flesh is the heart and soul of Bone. Much luv stack.💯💯🙏🏽

Quick story... Flesh N Bone’s first album was the first record I ever purchased in my life. I was graduating Jr High School and my grand uncle had purchased a boom box for me that had a CD player. So the day after I got it, I talked my mother into taking me to KMart (not Walmart, but KMART) to buy 1 cd, just 1. We couldn’t even afford it but momma love did that for me. At the time, I was a huuuuge Bone Thugs fan... it’s like 95 or 96 maybe and all I knew to look for was anything that had Bone on it lol. So I find his album thinking it was the whole group at first. Man, I enjoyed that record for months and months. He had a song with Krayzie on there that was like my lil anthem lol. Til this day, I remember the cover artwork, the photos in the booklet, everything. That song he had with Pun and Fat Joe was crazy. I remember the whole song still. Respect to Flesh. That man went through it and came out as solid as ever. 💯💯💯

This is the most I've heard Flesh talk and actually open up out of all the interviews I have seen with him and/or Bone. A lot of the interviewers be asking the same question from 20+ years ago about how they got on and whatever. I have met Bone Thugs on a few occasions whenever they hit DMV during their tours. They are the most humble and approachable dudes. The only person I haven't met was Bizzy. When I say they love their fans to the heart, they mean that truly. After shows they would come and kick it with their fans for an hour or two and would not hesitate to take pics and/or do autographs. They will ALWAYS be the best group to me just because they are not Hollywood.

I know why everything happened the way it did but if Flesh would have signed with Ruthless Records instead of Def Jam , we would have gotten the most anticipated solo album by any Bone member cuz Flesh was the first to drop one in 96' with his "T.H.U.G.S." album!!!!! If it was on Ruthless , it would have had the entire group involved with his album because he was the big brother & hes the whole reason they even met Easy & got famous so they would have definitely had more of they're input on the album to make it as perfect as possible & above everything , it would have been completely produced from front to back by DJ U-NeeK rather than the Def Jam producers that didn't understand back then that Bone literally had they're own signature style of beats & having 95'-97' era DJ U-NeeK beats on that album would have been insane!!!!! Especially on a entire Bone solo album which U-NeeK has actually never done believe it or not but back in 96' , he would have had to do it because he was BONE's only producer & they're star producer & the only one who had that perfect chemistry & plus they were all in they're prime back then including U-NeeK & everything they made back then was instant classics & went platinum on everything when it came to BONE's records the entire time they were signed to Ruthless Records 💯
