Love these talks so much. Everyone at LSS seems to have such great and diverse personalities. Usually can't stand podcasts getting off topic and talking about sh*t like banks but didn't mind it one bit here. Thanks for MST, set mechanics as well as the physical card design (art+marvels) look so incredible. Gonna be the first time buying a case (or 2 at this point honestly) for me :D

I did not know my story was so close to Bryans... Started playing MTG in 1995. Quit job and school in 2003 to play poker. Played for 10 years. In 2013 I went back to school - ended up studying law at university. Got my law degree in 2019 - and today I am currently less than 3 months away from my bar exam :)

Speaking of Nuu. We had an interesting interaction come up in testing. If Nuu uses ability to play Dig Up Dinner, it banishes itself again, so can they play it infinitely?

Until end of turn, Nuu can play their blues out of their banished zone. So yes,that works currently. There’s only so many 6+ in assassin though, so there’s a limited amount of value you get

@deadpoolrwbyfan8419 yea, our issue was. If they have 1 6 power in grave, can they continually play Dig Up until they hit it? If so, is there a point where we just skip ahead to save time since it's infinite? Then, if they have 0 6s can they continually play Dig Up to waste time, and would that be co sidered slow play?

@@Decks_Ray yes, you can continually play it until it works. How you approach it in a tournament setting is unknown, most likely just being it up to your opponent and at worst they’ll call a judge over to clarify, but as far as casual play goes I’m pretty sure everyone is on board with just fast forwarding to you shuffling them all back in. You’d need a judge to determine whether or not something is considered slow play.

As a Vynnset main, Nuu is utterly vile to go against, I'm sure Levia players feel the exact same way, despite getting a new card, I think we're now worse off positioned than we were before in the meta. Interesting design, but is so polarising in certain matchups, gatekeeps what is viable to play and is kicking decks down that were just about getting lifted up :L Pleeeeease give us something in the arcane set XD

I've seen a lot of Vynnset complaints that there's a new hero that banishes their cards, and very few Vynnset players acknowledging that there's another new hero in the same set designed around a mechanic that gets obliterated by unpreventable runechants. Sure, maybe Vynnset is a hero with polarising matchups but this goes in both directions

I would like some dev insight on the newest Olympia card, you knew that given the option,players will be able to attempt and add 3x let's say Crown of Providence on inventory. Did you really think it is ok to expect a single hero for a single weird card to spend money that for others,is entire salaries?

Why would you? Galea is just better for Olympia. It’s a temper 2 that lets you wager on any attack, which can be really relevant
